1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, or otherwise using this site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

2. About this website

This website belongs to Zahra Ciardi, a psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), registration number PSY0002180363, working as an individual therapist, high performance coach, and Founder & Clinical Director of Ascendant Bali.

3. Scope of these terms

These Terms of Use apply to your use of this website only. Where you engage Zahra Ciardi for individual therapy, coaching, or the Ascendant Bali program, those services are governed by a separate service agreement or, for Ascendant Bali, the Client Agreement provided during intake. Where these Terms of Use and a separate service agreement conflict in relation to the services themselves, the service agreement prevails.

4. Medical and clinical disclaimer

The information published on this website, including blog articles, social content, and any educational material, is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not intended to provide a diagnosis of any medical or psychological condition, replace consultation with a qualified practitioner, or constitute clinical advice tailored to your individual circumstances.

You should always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare practitioner before making decisions about your health or treatment. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of information you have read on this website.

We do not warrant that coaching or therapeutic outcomes will be the same for every client. Individual results vary depending on personal circumstances, engagement with the process, and other factors outside our control.

5. Eligibility

- You must be at least 18 years old to submit an enquiry or engage our services. We do not provide services to minors.

- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when submitting an enquiry or intake form.

- You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide to us.

6. Enquiries and remote consultations

Where consultations are conducted remotely (by phone or video), you are responsible for ensuring you have a private, suitable environment and a reliable internet connection. While we use secure platforms, no electronic communication is entirely free of risk, and by using remote consultation you accept the inherent risks of digital service delivery.

7. Acceptable use of the website

When using this website, you agree not to:

- Use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.

- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, our systems, or other users' information.

- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content without our written permission.

- Upload or transmit any material that contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

- Use the site in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its operation.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, branding, and educational materials, is owned by or licensed to Zahra Ciardi and protected by Australian, Indonesian, and international copyright and trademark laws.

You may view content from this website for personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, or republish any content without prior written consent.

9. Third-party links and services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services, provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or operations of any third-party site or service. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

10. Privacy

Your personal and health information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights, guarantees, or remedies available to you under applicable law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zahra Ciardi and her employees, contractors, and clinical collaborators from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the website, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to this website at any time, without notice, for any reason, including breach of these terms or abusive conduct.
